Before the first week of the 2026 NCAA Tournament wrapped up, one of the four No. 1 seeds had already been bounced — the reigning national champions. Iowa jumped ahead by as many as 12 points but saw that lead evaporate before fighting back, with a 3-pointer from Alvaro Folgueiras with 4.5 seconds remaining securing a stunning 73-72 win — Iowa was a 10.5-point underdog. 🤯 Texas Eliminates Gonzaga

The Texas Longhorns, who had to play their way through the First Four to get an 11-seed, are headed to the Sweet 16 after upsetting 3-seed Gonzaga 74-68. Camden Heide sank a 3-pointer after being substituted in with 32 seconds to go, putting a dagger in Gonzaga — he'd only attempted one shot in the game before that moment. (Syndicated News)

Vanderbilt had one chance left — they had to go the length of the court. Star guard Tyler Tanner heaved a shot from half-court.
